Overeating
We had our field trip, yesterday, at Dingle. The experience is not "new" to me. As a child, I am used to climbing mountains. I already visited the caves of Cagayan... I already experienced riding in a bus. Of course, this experience is different or else my life will simply be a deja vu. I joined in the field trip as a "teacher"; thus, I did not have the opportunity of enjoying the trip to the fullest.
Hay, After few days of coping with scandals brought by the JS Prom, I was surprised to know that there is another activity that would distract my students' attention to their studies - the field trip! I was not sure if I'm going to join or not. Anyway, I spent thursday afternoon shopping for the few important things that I need: a new pair of slippers, umbrella and food. I went home from Gaisano City with my shoes soaking wet with rain. At that time, I was thinking that perhaps the field trip on the next day will not push through because of the bad weather.
So, friday came. I was happy I woke up early.. Wearing my fave maong pants, my new pair of slippers and my orange tee, I thought I was the last person to arrive in school. Anyway, we were suppose to leave at 6:30 but we waited for one very imporant person. That's why we ended up leaving SYSHS at around 7:30 (well, i'm not really sure of the time..)
"DINGLE falls within the national priority areas for eco-tourism development. It is worthwhile for the municipality to promote domestic tourism as it is rich in natural resources conducive to recreation, leisure, exposure studies of flora and fauna and other wholesome experiences such as sight-seeing, trekking and cave exploration." Well, even if I claimed that the field trip distracts the students' attention from their studies, I can't deny the fact that the students enjoyed the trip very much. They got the chance to appreciate nature. See, most of my students have not experienced making their feet dirty with mud. Their feet are used to step on concrete pavements. That's why, many of them slipped because of the slippery terrain. Many also have scratches because of the pointed rocks.
Ha! It was a great experience for me to rediscover nature. After staying in the city for several months, I also missed climbing the mountains of my beloved province- Guimaras. Going to Dingle makes me feel homesick... I want to feel the fresh air, the warm sunshine, everything!!!By the way, my father called me up to go home.. You know, my mother was hospitalized and i did not visit them since New Year.. God! I also have priorities... I have so many things to do here in the city during weekends... my masters at UP.... etc. I hope could go home next week.
Hehe...My blog is incoherent.. whatever.. I'm tired... mentally and physically.... I don't know if I'm happy... I'm suppose to meet Radi after few minutes... we'll study for the exam tomorrow....
Good news!!!! After having low grades in Abstract algebra (as in very low, I got 67%), I was surprised to receive the result of my second long exam. I got 104%!!!!! That is because I answered the bonus item correctly. It might sound silly but as I scanned my test paper, I can't understand my answers anymore. It's as if another personality answered the test. Teehee... I'm just a little forgetful.... Now, I need to review...
I hope I will get a high grade... Please help me pray.

hello Rose,
I just read the comment you posted in my blog. Geez, it took me a long time to open it after the bruhaha of deadlines - grades, promotional, form1,etc. Finally! The day came when it was over. I did it! Yehey! Yipeeh! I was able to hurdle 1 school year of teaching at Hua Siong. This goes for you too, kiddo! Another year added to your resume.
